Meet the X-Men.

Angel.jpg

Real Name: Warren Worthington III

Powers: Though he has enhanced strength, sight, and hearing, both cartoons and X3 focus primarily on his flight by use of feathered wings which are pure white.  When adding to his appearance of blonde hair, blue eyes, and a body that holds zero fat on it, the reason for being called Angel is clearly obvious.  As Archangel, Warren's appearance is slightly altered giving his skin a blue hue as well as having had his wings removed and replaced by retractable metallic wings that allow him to fly at greater atmospheres and shoot dagger like objects out of them.

Bio: In both TAS and Evo, Warren remained a loner and vigilante.  While helping the X-Men occasionally in Evo, the X-Men usually had means to help him on TAS as he was prone of endangering himself having had Apocalypse turn him into Archangel in order to use him as his Horseman known as Death.  While Warren allowed himself to be tricked into becoming Archangel on TAS thinking it was a cure to make mutants regular humans, in X3 Warren refuses to be cured last minute because he doesn't feel it is right to change because other people want him to.  He joins the X-Men, and later saves his father from being killed by Quill, Archlight, and Psylocke.

Romantic Interests: Though no full fledged relationship formed, there were some sweet moments between him and rogue in both TAS and Evo, and a strong attaraction between him and Psylocke on TAS.

Nemesis: Apocalypse

Trivia: Angel was originally considered for joining the cast of X2 along with Nightcrawler but wasn't. An x-ray of his wing can be seen in Stryker's Weapon X lab as well as in the deleted scene featuring Jubilee.

beast.jpg

Real Name: Henry McCoy

Powers: Enhanced strength, senses, reflexes and agility.  Coarse blue fur that covers his entire body.  Also has razor sharp claws.

Bio: Beast is a paradox.  While he seems to be de-evolving (going from a hairless cavemanesque figure to soemthing apelike, and in the comics currently even before that to appearing cat-like), he is highly intelligent.  He always has some quote handy, be it Shakespeare, Lewis Carroll, etc.  He is also a brilliant chemisit, and in TAS, Evo, and X2 is known as Dr. McCoy.  In X3 he is the Secretary of Mutant Affairs, later moving higher up to become an Embassador of the United Nations.

Romantic Interests: In TAS he fell in love with a patient he cured of blindness named Carley in the episode "Beauty and the Beast."

Nemisis: himself:  He has the fear that the beast he has become will one day overwelm him entirely and he would no longer be abloe to control himself (Evo) - regrets his physically mutations because they prohibit him from many mundane actions - such as romantic relationships with humans because they fear him.

Trivia: In X2, Hank appeared on the TV in the bar where Mystique, as Grace, planted iron in Magneto's guard's blood..

As Played By:

Cyclops.jpg

Real Name: Scott Summers

Powers: Can shoot beams of optic, solar energy out of his eyes. The only catch is, he cannot shut it of and has to wear a specal rubytinted lens over his eyes in order to open his eyes without damaging anything. The full, raw power of his eyes can blast a hole in the base of a mountain.

Bio: After a plane crash seperates him from his Mother, Father, and younger brother, Alex, Scott believes them all dead and becomes an orphan. He later becomes one of the original x-men along with Jean Grey, Beast, Angel, and Ice Man (TAS. In Evo he and Jean were the first, and it doesn't specify in the films though Bobby and Angel are fairly younger, but Beast was an old friend).  Scott's a natural born leader, and his bossiness comes off as an annoyance to other members.  He is the first in command, and is respected by the team - except for by Wolverine and occasionally Gambit.

Romantic Interests: Jean Grey.

Nemesis: Avalanche, Mr. Sinister, Mystique

Trivia: His power is fueled by Sunlight, so if Cyclops would have remained in the Morlock tunnels with Callisto, after a time he would have been able to keep his eyes open with out the special glaces or visor.

Gambit.jpg

Real Name: Remy LeBeau

Powers: Gambit can charge any inanimate object with bio-kenetic energy causing them to explode.  He also has enhanced agility and the abilty to charm just about anyone into doing just about anything.

Bio: This Cajun charmer was born in the Bayou.  He was raised in a group known as the Thieves' guild which rivaled the Assassins.  One of the Assassins happened to be a female known as Belladonna - Gambit's ex-wife (or in the case of TAS  fiance he left behind).  Although he left his life in New Orleans behind him and joined the X-Men in TAS, he still has a dark and mysterious past that not even Rogue knows about.  In Evo, Magneto enlists Gambit as one of his Acolytes.  It was never certain why he joined Magneto, more than likely he was getting paid.  Gambit could change loyalties quickly - for the right price.

Romantic Interests: In TAS he is particularly smitten with Rogue, and even tells her he loves her.  He has had a relationship with Belladonna as well.  In Evo there is an attraction to Rogue, he even kidnaps her to take her to New Orleans to help him, but no strong relationship ever formed.

Nemesis: unknown

Trivia: While the name "REMY LEBEAU" appeared on Stryker's computer files in X2, Gambit's absence from the films has created a outcry among fans.  He was originally set up to cameo near the end of X2, and had a stuntman set to appear in the film as Gambit, it was never shot.  Josh Holloway (Sawyer on LOST) was approached for the part in X3, but turned the role down.  Various versions of the reasonings behind Holloway's decision are floating around.

jeangrey.jpg

Real Name: Jean Grey

Powers: Telekinesis and Telepathy.

Bio: One of the original X-Men, Jean has evolved more noticably than any other character on the show.  While she always appeared pretty weak on TAS, as in fainting a lot after lifting even the teeniest object, in TAS, Evo, and the films she begins to lift and control heavier and bigger objects for longer lengths of time.  Her strength and compassion drew the Phoenix Force to her when she needed help to save her team in TAS (and is hinted in the final episode of Evo).

Romantic Interests: Cyclops, and the inner badgirl in her is drawn to Wolverine's love for her.

Nemeses: The Phoenix Force, Mr. Sinister

Trivia: In X2 Jean seems to be merely evovling into the powerful entity known as "Phoenix", yet in X3 the "Phoenix" is just an alternate personailty created within Jean's mind when Xavier tried to help her lessen the burden of so much power since as an Omega mutant, Jean is one of the most powerful mutants there is once she is.

Bio: As the youngest X-Man, Jubilee is a natural-born trouble maker. In TAS she would get into trouble often by trying to prove to the older members that she was not just a kid.  Her rash decisions found her facing Omega Red and Sabretooth, among others.  In Evo she was part of a group of the new recruits that caused mischief such as stealing the X-jet while everyone else was asleep.

Romantic Interests: In TAS she got particularly close to Longshot, and had a crush on Iceman.

When in truth Kurt is a ver religious man, eventually becoming a monk.  In X2 and TAS, Kurt gained his codename from the circus he perfomed in. In Evo, he was given an image inducer that allowed him to appear like a normal human so that people in his school would not be frightened by his fuzzy, blue appearance.

Romantic Interests: In Evo he was dating a girl named Amanda, but also had a crush on Kitty Pyrde.

Nemesis: Toad

Trivia: Although Mystique was his mother and is acknowledged in both TAS and Evo, in X2 there is no indication of that fact made.

In the final scene of X-Men: Evolution, Xavier's glimpse into the future revealed that she would gain her ability to fly on the show.

Bio: Rogue ran away from home after discovering her ability when she kissed her first boyfriend, Cody (she touched him at a school dance in Evo).  In TAS she was then taken in by Mystique and trained to use her powers, and in doing such held on to Mrs. Marvel too long and took her powers permanantly before running away again to the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters to become a member of the X-Men.  In Evo, Rogue was already the foster child of Mystique and Destiny, and briefly became a member of the Brotherhood.  In the films she befriended Wolverine and with him became a member of the X-Men.

Romantic Interests: Her first boyfriend was Cody, who after being mutated by an Alien breed, tried to win her back.  She also flirted alot with other characters such as Archangel and Colossus.  But the main love interest in her TAS days was Gambit.  In Evo there was a strong attraction again for Gambit, but she also had a major crush on Cyclops and again was sweet on Angel.  In the films she had a relationship with Iceman.

Romantic Interests: Avalanche (Evo), Iceman (Films), Hints at relationships with Nightcrawler and Colossus (Evo).

wolverine1.jpg

Real Name: Logan

Powers: Extra-fast healing abilities that prolongs aging and makes him near impossible to kill.  His powers were the reason he was chosen for the Weapon X project, which coated his entire skeleton with an indestructable metal called adamatium.  With this skeleton, he recieved a set of 3 claws on each hand. He also has an enhanced sense of smell, which makes him an excellent hunter.

Bio: His age is not exactly known, but he looked the same as he does today during WWII.  Wolverine is a loner, perfering to fight his own battles rather than asking for help.  His memory was wiped by the government behind the Weapon X program, and in all three versions of his story, he spends a large amount of time trying to deciphor what happened to him.

Romantic Interests: In the films and TAS, he is in love with Jean Grey even though she is involved with Cyclops.  He also has a romantic past with Lady Deathstrike, Silver Fox, and is married to Storm in an Alternate Reality (TAS).
